Kathryn Louise Crouse

Born on November 10, 1952, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Kathy lived a life centered on faith, family, laughter, and love. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome and cared for, and she found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved.

Kathy was the beloved daughter of Robert and Helen Douds Gauvey. She is survived by her devoted husband, John "Jack" Crouse, whose partner she was through life's many adventures. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

She was a proud and loving mother to her son, Shaun Crouse, and her daughter, Sarah DiPasquale (Mario). Her greatest delight came from being "Nana" to Austin Crouse, Karson Crouse, Jacob Ila Rose Crouse, Nicolina DiPasquale, and Renzo DiPasquale. She has been blessed with two Great Grandchildren as well: Kynleigh Mae and Kamryn Jade Crouse.

Nothing brought a bigger smile to Kathy's face than spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She had a special connection to fur baby animals of all types, never missing a petting zoo opportunity.

Kathy is also survived by her brothers, Robert Gauvey Jr. (Teri), Charles Gauvey (Debra), and her half-brother, Chauncey Gauvey (Delaina), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A lifelong stay-at-home mother, Kathy believed there was no more important job than caring for her family. She gave her time generously as a Girl Scout leader and remained an active member of the churches she attended throughout her life, quietly serving others with kindness and compassion.

She loved to travel and was happiest with sand beneath her feet and the sound of waves nearby. The beach was her happy place, and every trip became another treasured family memory. Kathy never missed an opportunity to celebrate life's special moments, whether hosting a gathering, encouraging a friend, or simply making someone feel loved.

Those who knew Kathy will remember her warm heart, her generous spirit, and the way she made every holiday, birthday, and family gathering feel special. Her legacy lives on in the love she poured into her family, the friendships she nurtured, and the countless lives she touched through simple acts of kindness.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that her love remains with us. We will carry her memory forward every time we gather as a family, laugh together, take a walk on the beach, or celebrate the people we love.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathy's life is to be held at Advantage Funeral Home on September 4th, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm. Family and friends will be invited to join in remembering and honoring a woman whose greatest accomplishment was the love she gave so freely.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to honor Kathy by spending time with those you love, extending kindness to someone in need, and never passing up an opportunity to make happy memories together.
