Concetta Ann Gallagher

Concetta “Connie" Ann Barricelli Gallagher July 30, 1939 – April 26, 2025. Born in South Ozone Park, New York, Connie grew up in Washington DC and attended Notre Dame Academy for girls. After graduating high school, she met the love of her life, the late Joe Gallagher. They were married for 61 years and they raised three children. Connie resided in Maryland, Florida and the last 5 years in Cumming, Georgia.

After high school Connie attended technical school to become a Medical Assistant. She later used that schooling to work as a Medical Office Manager for over 30 years. When she retired, Connie and Joe enjoyed traveling the nation in their motor home.

Connie never met a stranger; she enjoyed making ceramics, doing arts and crafts, gardening and making jewelry. She also loved traveling, visiting all 50 states and taking many trips to Europe. Most of all Connie loved spending time with her family and friends and was always up for a party or celebration. She loved being able to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always known for her love of dressing up and decorating for each holiday. Connie was a member of Saint Brendan Catholic Church.

Connie was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Joseph “Joe” Gallagher, Sr, her parents Theodore and Annette Barricelli, her stepfather Jerry T. Smith and stepbrother Bradley Smith.

Connie is survived by her children who were her pride and joy; Patrick “Rick” Joseph Gallagher, Jr (Lori), Annemarie Gallagher Brown (David) and Danielle Gallagher Gillis (David). Her grandchildren Katie Gallagher Pait (David), Alyssa Gallagher, Michael Brown (Samantha), Ryan Brown (Kate), Andrew “Drew” Brown (Kathryn), Bryce Gillis (Halee) and Kylee Gillis. Her great grandchildren Leighton and Graham Brown, Walker and Jones Pait and Brylee Gillis. And her stepsister Irene Smith Green.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date. We will always carry her loving memory in our hearts.
