Carol Ann Laplume

Carol grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where she met the love of her life, Andre LaPlume. After marriage their life became an adventure moving all over the US while Andre served in the US Coast Guard.

Carol was a woman of kindness, and creativity. She enjoyed crafting and created beautiful cross stitched quilts by hand. Every stitch told a story, and her quilts will be forever cherished by her family.

She was a beloved mother to Laurie (Crane) and Chandra LaPlume, grandmother to Evan (Hope), Jade, and Logan, whom she adored beyond measure.

She always had a big love for Elvis. At the end of her life, his movies brought her comfort and peace.

A celebration of her life will be held this summer in her hometown of Lawrence, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude in her name or simply honor her memory by wrapping up in a cozy quilt and listening to an Elvis song.
