Thomas V. Forgette Jr.

Of Norwich, CT passed away on Saturday April 19, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on July 3, 1946 in Bridgeport, CT. And lived in Stratford most of his life and is a 1964 graduate of Stratford High School. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Vet. He retired from Carpenter Steel Technology where he worked alongside his dad and 2 brothers for many years.

He is preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Gladys Forgette, and a son Thomas Forgette III (6 yrs ago from stage 4 lung cancer).

Tom leaves behind his wife of 52 yrs, Maureen Forgette, son Brian Forgette and loving granddaughter Tiffani A. Forgette. Also leaves behind 4 brothers, Robert Forgette of Stratford, John Forgette of West Haven, twin brothers Kevin and Keith Forgette of Stratford and 1 sister, Carol Fisher of Punta Gorda FL and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held on May 17, 2025 11 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 156 Providence St. Taftville, CT .

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at the VFW at 36 Pratt Ave, Taftville, CT directly after church service.
