Rita Cerritelli

Rita was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Agnes Rocheville. She was a resident of Derby, CT and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Derby.

Rita was predeceased by her brother, Wilfred Rocheville Jr., nephew, Robert Cerritelli, and brother-in-law Robert (Paula) Cerritelli.

She was a loving mother to Pamela (George) Zwinger, Richard Cerritelli Jr, Samuel (Lorie) Cerritelli, Jeff Cerritelli and Danielle. She was a beloved grandmother to Daniel and Eric Zwinger, Connor, Scott, Hunter, Gunnar, and Jessa Cerritelli and leaves behind several nieces. Rita is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Allen (Lucille) Cerritelli, John (Patricia) Cerritelli and Greg Cerritelli. She also leaves her devoted companion macaw, Fuji of 28 years.

Rita was a retiree from SNET for 20 years. She devoted her life to her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, and will deeply be missed by all.

A Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish (formerly St. Mary’s Church) in Derby, CT on June 29th at 10:00am followed by a repast at Jesse Camille’s in Naugatuck, CT.
