He graduated from High School in Randolph, NY where he met his wife of 73 years Lolita (Remington) Wood, who predeceased him by 3 weeks.
Richard served as an air policeman in the USAF and after had a long career in environmental work and is survived by his 3 sons Tyler, Richard, Nelson, and 7 grandchildren. Richard will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Richard and Lolita will be interred together at the VA cemetery in Middletown, CT, No memorial services are planned at this time.
