Margaret (Peggy) Goetschkes of The Villages, FL passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born on October 19, 1935 in the Bronx, NY where she grew up and graduated from Saint Gabriel High School in New Rochelle, NY.
Peggy worked as a Telephone Operator at NY Telephone and later as a Teaching Assistant at Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES in Yorktown Heights, NY.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew Goetschkes and sister Patricia (Sweeney) Murphy.
She is survived by her children, Margaret, Andrew, Robert, Keith and his wife Sara, her brother, Francis Sweeney and his wife Ella, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
