Doreen Linda (Dillman) Reichardt

Doreen Linda (Dillman) Reichardt passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Arlington, Massachusetts, in 1941, Doreen lived a life full of love, dedication, and service.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Hans Reichardt; her parents, Everett and Irene Dillman of Lexington, Massachusetts; her brother, Ronald Dillman; and her sister, Virginia Proulx.

Doreen is survived by her siblings: Judith Dillman, Sandra (Ronald) Racoobian, Harold “Joe” Dillman, and Shirley Schofield. She also leaves behind eight cherished nieces, several great nieces and nephews and her late husband’s daughter, Jane (John) Davies.

Doreen graduated with a degree in education from Bridgewater State College, which marked the beginning of her lifelong commitment to teaching. She dedicated her career to shaping young minds and bodies as a Physical Education teacher. Her passion for education and her commitment to her students left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Her family and friends will remember her for her kindness, strength, witty humor and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services will be privately held for the family.
