Carol Anne Nightingale

Carol Nightingale (Steadman) passed away on October 1, 2026, at 10:17 a.m. at the age of 62. She was born on June 8, 1964, at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, where she was raised and spent her early years.

Carol attended the University of Phoenix and valued education and personal growth throughout her life.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Family was the center of her life, and she cherished the time she spent with those she loved.

Carol is survived by her husband, Scott Nightingale; her brothers Robert Steadman, and Timmy Steadman and wife Barb Steadman, sister Cindy Steadman, and Carol's five children, James L. Sarver, Amber L. Roberts, Sean M. Roberts, David F. Roberts, and Jacob A. Roberts. One beloved step daughter Samantha Ambrose (Nightingale).She also leaves behind 17 beloved grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, all of whom will carry her memory forward.

Family and friends are invited to attend a public Celebration of Life at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home. The date and time are to be determined and will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed through the GoFundMe page established in Carol's honor and organized by her son, David Roberts.

Carol's love for her family, her strength, and the memories she created with those around her will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
