Bruce Ring

Bruce was born in Keene, New Hampshire, on February 1, 1951, to Stanley Ring and Ruth Carpenter Ring. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley Ring and Ruth Carpenter Ring; his stepmother, Pauline Ring; and his brother, Bradley Ring.

Bruce is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Ring; his children, Laura Ring, Stacey DeJesus and her husband, Allen DeJesus, Richard Ring, and Jake Ring; and his two beloved grandsons, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his cousins, Linda Rittman and her husband, Douglas Rittman, and Kim DesJardins.

A proud Vietnam veteran, Bruce honorably served his country in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class.

Bruce spent much of his working life in the construction industry and was the owner of his own carpentry business. A remarkably talented carpenter, he was always willing to lend his skills and a helping hand to family and friends, whether they needed help with a project or simply someone they could count on.

Outside of his work, Bruce had many passions. He was an avid model railroad enthusiast and loved train spotting. He enjoyed Native American and Irish music and treasured taking day trips into the mountains of New Hampshire. He especially cherished time spent with his family, including his children and grandchildren.

Bruce was a devoted family man whose generosity, talents, and willingness to help others touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Chloe and Saddie, as well as his three cats, who were an important part of his life and home.

A graveside burial service with military honors will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, Connecticut.

A Celebration of Life will follow from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at Vero Cucino, 749 Saybrook Road, Middletown, CT 06457.
