Bethe Alyse Rohrbaugh of West Hartford, CT passed away on January 9th 2025 at the age of 63. Bethe was born on March 22, 1961 in Beverly Massachusetts. Her family eventually moved to New Britain, Connecticut where she grew up and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School class of 1979. Bethe then continued her education at Boston College.
While she had several jobs and career paths over the years, Bethe worked mostly in the fields of retail, hospitality and customer service. Those who knew Bethe would agree she was someone with a fun-loving spirit who always lived with the best intentions and was always a person you could talk to if you needed a friend. Bethe had a warm personality, her children describe her as sensitive, loving and caring. She was also always the best person to rock out to music with and could make any experience more fun.
Bethe is preceded in death by her mother Winifred Alyse Rohrbaugh. She is survived by her father Rev Mark Leroy Rohrbaugh, her younger brother Mark Leroy Rohrbaugh II, her younger sister Susan Alyse Dalfonso, her daughter Alexis Alyse Putorti and her son Christopher Ian Putorti.
Bethe has been cremated, and her ashes will be shared among her family. They intend to spread them in a place that would mean the most to Bethe, where she can be a part of for eternity. While there will be no communal ceremony to celebrate Bethe’s life, the family invites anyone that would like to share pictures or stories of times with Bethe via Email to [email protected] where her memories will be compiled and saved to be shared with the next generations of her family. Feel free to send some final words or a prayer you would have liked to share with Bethe before or after her passing.

Bethe’s children would like to dedicate a song that speaks to them about Bethe. A song by one of her favorite bands, Aerosmith.
“It's amazing
With the blink of an eye, you finally see the light
Oh, it's amazing
When the moment arrives that you know you'll be alright
Yeah, it's amazing
And I'm sayin' a prayer for the desperate hearts tonight”
