Barbara "Bobbi" J. Prince

Barbara J. Prince, known affectionately as Bobbi, passed away on September 7, 2024, in Middletown, CT, at the age of 80. Born on November 25, 1943, in Norwalk, CT, she spent over three decades as a dedicated Burr bench operator at Pratt and Whitney, where she was respected for her work ethic and camaraderie.

Bobbi was a humble, kind-hearted woman who cherished her role as a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family fiercely, providing a warm and nurturing presence that deeply touched all who knew her. Her children, Beverly, Allen, and Cliff Maine, remember her as the cornerstone of their lives, along with her cherished grandchildren, C.J Etheridge (Jenn) and Mariah Maine (Billy), and her adored great-grandson, Will, the love of her life. She is also survived by her goddaughter, Dawn M. Duff of VA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Evelyn Prince, her sister, Alice Dawly, and her brothers, Joseph, Paul, and Roger Prince.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Neptune Cremation in Newington, CT, is assisting the family during this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bobbi's memory to Middlesex Cancer Center, Middlesex Hospice, or St. Jude's Research Hospital, honoring her compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication to helping others.
