William B. Fogle

Bill was born on January 14, 1940 to William Braden Fogle and Jessie Henderson Fogle, the eldest of four children. He was a graduate of Schenley High School in 1958 and studied at the University of Pittsburgh. Bill began working at Western Electric cleaning and repairing pay telephones. He retired from Lucent Technologies in 2000 as the Senior Technical Advisor in Adaptive Design Engineering.

Bill was married to his high school sweetheart, Janice Fogle for 61 years. Together they had two children, Susan (Blaine) Gregorio of Edgewater, FL and Gary Fogle (Amanda Holland) of Schwenksville, PA.

Bill and Jan loved nature and animals. They built two lovely koi ponds and created a beautifully landscaped nature preserve in their backyard. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes, especially when he could go with his son, Gary. They became members of the Kingdom Hall of Wayne, PA, enriching their spiritual lives and meeting many wonderful new friends.

Bill is also survived by his twin sisters Sally (Robert) Wasserman of Kingwood, Texas and Janet (Donald) Bildhauer of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; his grandchildren Emma, Cole and Carter Fogle, and Ashley Secoges; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Janice Fogle and his brother Robert.

A service will be held at the Wayne, PA Kingdom Hall on Saturday January 20, at 3:00pm.
