Susan L. Uff age 75 of Aston, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.Susan L. Uff (nee Owens), 75 of Aston, PA. passed peacefully at her home on Wednesday May 10th, 2023. She was born in Chester, PA. on November 27, 1947, and was a graduate of Chester High School Class of 1965. She also graduated from cosmetology school prior to working at Bell Telephone for over thirty years. Susan retired from Bell Telephone as a senior service representative. She also served as the local union president in the Delaware office.
Susan was a member of the auxiliary of the American Legion Post 777, having most recently served as treasurer. She loved her time at the Legion and made many many friends there. Sue also loved the Pomeranians she had throughout the years and her sassy senior Yorkie, Trudy Truffles, adopted just a year ago.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Bill Owens; and her brother, Charles Schraishuhn. She is survived by her niece and “best buddy”, Kim (Jeff) Rainer of Pensacola, FL; her Sister-in-Law, Sarah Schraishuhn, also of Pensacola; and her stepdaughter and family, Leigh, Joey, and Cash Ogborn, of Garnet Valley, PA. Susan is also survived by numerous cousins and many dear friends. She adored her friends and family.
At Sue’s request, her Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion, Post 777 on Friday, June 16th, 2023. Drop in from 12-2pm and have a burger on Sue. The Legion is located at 137 Walter Street, Crum Lynne, PA 19022.
