

Jorge Enrique Bouza, beloved father, son, brother, and respected sound professional, passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 64. Born in Havana, Cuba, Jorge made his home in Miami, Florida, where he built both a life and a legacy. He attended Loyola High School and studied at Biscayne College.
With over 36 years of experience, Jorge worked as a sound mixer, sound supervisor, and voice-over artist, contributing to network news, documentaries, news magazines, and reality television. He also lent his voice to books, video games, and short projects. Throughout his career, Jorge was known for his dedication to capturing authentic moments—recording news, memories, and stories with care, precision, and heart.
Jorge’s legacy will live on through the voices he helped record, the stories he helped tell, and the countless lives he touched, both personally and professionally. His joyful spirit, passion for sound, love for the Miami Heat and Hurricanes, and commitment to capturing truth will be remembered by friends, family, and collaborators far and wide.
Jorge is survived by his children, Jorge Bouza Jr., Vicente Bouza, and Erica Bouza; his mother, Doris Bouza; and his sister, Cristina DiGiorgio. He will be remembered for his warmth, professionalism, and the many voices and stories he helped bring to life.
Though the sound has faded, his legacy will always be heard.
