Brian Fullerton White passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the age of 55 in Miami, Florida. He was born on November 25, 1970, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, to his beloved parents, Ronald “Ronnie” White and Mary Constance White (Newell).
He grew up playing little league baseball with his friends in Upper Arlington. Every summer, he visited his family cabin in Canada, where he developed a lifelong love of fishing. During the summers, he also spent a great deal of time with his grandparents at their boathouse on Lake Erie. He enjoyed attending the Fourth of July parade with friends and family, followed by watching fireworks together.
Brian discovered his passion for playing the guitar in middle school. Around that time, he and his friends spent many afternoons at the YMCA playing basketball and working out. He loved going to the movies, the arcade and often stayed out much later than he should have. In high school, he developed a love for golf while working at a country club in Dublin. During college, he enjoyed vacations with friends and attending Ohio State football games.
Brian met his wife on a blind date in 1996, and they instantly connected. They dated for three years before marrying in 1999. A year later, they welcomed their first child, Austin White, in 2000, followed by their second child, Lauren White, in 2002. Brian and his wife shared 30 wonderful years together. His proudest role in life was being a husband and father. He cherished his family deeply and created countless lasting memories with them.
Brian was a kind and compassionate husband, father, and friend. He was always willing to lend an ear and offer advice on any subject. His love for nature was reflected in his enjoyment of walks and birdwatching, and he passed his love of animals on to his children. He was hardworking and dedicated to his field, and his experience in IT fueled his passion for developing technological solutions and leading program management initiatives.
Brian was also an avid sports fan. His favorite teams included the Cleveland Guardians, the Buckeyes, and the Denver Broncos. He loved listening to classic rock, especially Led Zeppelin and Metallica, and spent much of his free time golfing.
He graduated from Dublin Coffman High School in 1989 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1994. He began his professional career at Emerson in Columbus, Ohio, as an Application Engineer before continuing his career with leadership roles at Verizon, AT&T, and Nationwide Insurance. His career in Information Technology and Application Development later took him to Virginia and then to Walmart Corporate Headquarters in Arkansas, where he served as Senior Director of Application Development. He later moved to Miami to join Carnival Cruise Line as Executive Director of Information Technology and eventually advanced to Vice President, Head of Application Development & Cloud Infrastructure at Lincare. Throughout his career, he was respected for his leadership, dedication, and contributions to the field of technology.
Brian is survived by his wife, Nina White of Miami, Florida; his two children, Austin White and Lauren White of Miami, Florida; his mother, Mary White of Powell, Ohio; his lifelong friend, Ryan Hill of Nashville, Tennessee; and his loyal dog, Baylee, who was always by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald “Ronnie” White, and his sister, Lisa White-Choung. He also leaves behind extended family members and many friends in Ohio, Canada, and beyond.
Donations in Brian’s memory may be made to mental health organizations of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date in Ohio, with details to be announced. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Brian’s life. The family also welcomes the sharing of stories and photographs in his memory.
