

William moved back and forth through his childhood, between West Virginia, and Sedro Woolley. He would go hunting and fishing on many days during his younger years. He was active in the 4–H and enjoyed his time there.
He graduated from Sedro Woolley High School in 1964. After graduating William, enlisted in the USMC and became a rifleman. During his four years of service, he became a Scout Sniper, in Vietnam, where he received a purple heart for injuries received during his deployment, along with receiving his Rifle Expert Badge.
Upon completing his enlistment, William began working at Puget Sound Energy, where he worked for 40 years, until his retirement. He worked various jobs, working himself up to a first response lineman.
Bill enjoyed the outdoors and spent as much time as he could with his family, doing many outdoor activities. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, also he enjoyed playing rounds of golf. He was also an active member of the Scout Sniper Assoc.
Bill is predeceased by his mother and father, his Grandparents, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, of 51 years, as well as 4 children; Michael, Richard, Tracy, and Shawna, also 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Veterans Association Doctors, and the Hospice nurses for their wonderful care of Bill.
There will be a small family gathering, to honor Bill in Tahoma National Cemetery.
