Vincent was not a big traveler. That's why it was such an honor to have him at my retirement. He was a Navy man so it was great to pass on the legacy.

I did not know Grandpa Vince that well in person, but dad told me some stories about him. Such as the time he was piecing together his 1973 GMC pickup making sure it kept running, haha. He was overall a very good guy and I'm glad he had a good life. A couple days after I got back from Washington State there were a ton of butterflies by our house and usually there aren't because there's no plants for them to fertilize. We weren't sure if it meant serenity or rebirth or what but now every time I see butterflies I think of Grandpa Vince.
