Dr. Thomas Stevenson Rees was born in Waynesburg, PA on September 6, 1946. Tom lived with his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters on the East coast where his Dad was a Reverend in a local Presbyterian church before moving out to California. Tom attended San Marino High School followed by the University of Redlands where he majored in Theology and Audiology while also playing football as both an offensive and defensive tackle. (Go Bulldogs!) After graduation he moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington where he earned his PHD in Audiology (Go Huskies!). He went to work for Harborview Medical Center where he spent his entire career of 44 years. IN addition, he also taught part-time at the University of Washington. Tom has a love for animals, with dogs holding a special place in his heart. After retirement, Tom and his wife Nancy loved to travel to many fascinating location including a couple of Caribbean cruises, a trip to Washington D.C. and many trips to their favorite spot, Palm Springs CA. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, David & Regina, his 2 sisters, Anne & Linda, and 2 brothers, David & Stuart. Tom leaves behind his beloved wife Nancy as well as many family, friends, and colleagues.
