Patti enjoyed a distinguished career as a Director of Finance for several law firms, concluding her professional journey at Bogle & Gates before retiring at age 50. Her work was marked by dedication, leadership, and the respect of her colleagues.
After retirement, Patti embraced life fully. She and her husband, Leonard, loved to travel and, until the pandemic, often embarked on extended adventures around the world with friends. Patti was also an enthusiastic golfer, and the two of them enjoyed many years on the course together.
Patti thrived in community and friendship. At the Oasis Country Club in Palm Desert, she was an active and cherished presence—hosting and attending Mexican Train and Mahjong afternoons, enjoying standing dinner dates with friends three to four times a week, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks every Sunday surrounded by those she loved. Before settling in Palm Desert, Patti and Leonard spent more than 25 years at the Inglewood Country Club, where they built deep and lasting friendships.
Patti was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Winslow; her grandson, Robert “Robbie” Winslow; her nephew, Dustin Miller; and her parents, Ruth Wyatt and Kenneth Grosvenor.
She is survived by her sister, Jan Wyatt;
and her children:
Dean Winslow and partner, Mai
David Winslow and wife, Alison
Don Winslow and wife, Cory
Ed Riley and wife, Cherie
Donna Seeber and husband, Karl
Jana Whitcomb and husband, Aaron
Patti was the proud grandmother of fourteen grandchildren—Garrett, Maitland, Christian, Kris, Kendrick, Kasi, Karlee, Casey W., Casey S., Chris, Brandon, Evan, Grace, and Whitney—and eleven great-grandchildren: Owen, Abbey, Jaymason, Joseph, Kealen, Khloe, Avery, Kenzie, Riley, Nora, and Ava, with a twelfth great-grandchild expected on December 5, 2025.
To those who knew her, Patti was often described as “a force of nature”—a woman with grit, determination, and a remarkable capacity for loyalty and love. She showed up for others, again and again. Her strength, generosity, and spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
