Marian Francis Zoebisch, a longtime Seattle resident, passed away at the remarkable age of 99. Born on January 20, 1926, in Minnesota, Marian moved to Seattle in 1945 and called the city home for over 75 years.
Throughout her life, Marian's passions and pursuits brought her immense joy. She was an avid ballroom dancer, gliding effortlessly across the dance floor with elegance and poise. She also delighted in playing pinochle with friends and family, always ready for a lively game. Additionally, Marian had a fondness for collecting antique dolls, treasuring the beauty and history of each unique piece.
In addition to her hobbies, Marian was a dedicated entrepreneur. Alongside her family, she owned and operated Empire Hobbies for 30 years, sharing her love of creativity and community with countless customers.
Marian is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Blaine. She was predeceased by her children Edward Zoebisch, Nancy Gordon, and Janet Schaffer.
A celebration of life will be held with close friends and family to honor Marian's remarkable life.
