Margaret "Peggy" Jean Bingerman

Peggy was born on January 10, 1942, in Seattle, Washington, to Donald L. MacLeod and Mary “Christy” Brennan. She grew up surrounded by family and was one of five siblings. She adored her brothers Dennis, Patrick, Daniel MacLeod, and Daniel “Bruce” Morris.

Peggy spent more than 20 years working in Human Resources at Boeing before retiring in 2001. She took great pride in her work and in the life she built along the way. She often blended her personal and professional life, and one of her favorite memories was taking her granddaughters to work on “Take Your Daughter to Work Day.”

On September 7, 1982, Peggy married William L. Bingerman. Together, they shared many years of marriage and a life filled with family, animals, and countless cherished memories. Most weekends were spent with grandchildren filling the halls of their home, crafting, and snuggling their many beloved pets.

Peggy cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, especially during Christmas, which was her time to shine. Her family was the center of her world, and in her later years she was affectionately known as “Grandma–The-Great” by those who loved her dearly.

Peggy is survived by her children, Deborah and Becki; her grandchildren, Amy, Shannon, and Kaitlyn; and four great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and for the special place she held in the lives of those who knew her.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Bingerman, and her beloved son, William H. McDonald. Though their loss left an immeasurable space in her heart, she carried their memory with her and spoke of them often.

Her family will forever cherish the memories of Peggy and the love she gave to each of of us making us each feel like we were her favorite. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love and the memories she created will live on through us forever. She is cherished so dearly.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
