To all friends and family:  Joel and another mutual friend Gary Claggett, did some work on my condo back in 2006.  He was very proud of his painting skills, and knowledge of paint, and it shows to this day on my walls! (I heard later that he even painted my cat--lol!).  Joel was an excellent billiards player, and gave me some pointers that helped improve my game.  A great man all around, wonderful, loving caregiver to his mother for many years, and all around nice guy.  He will be missed, but I will cherish my loving memories of the fun we had.
To Joel:   May you win all your billiard games in Heaven, show everyone how to play, and paint the sky for us all to enjoy.  You are one of 23 names I will have on my running jersey "In Honor and Memory Of" for tomorrow morning's race.  I wish you peace my friend.
