Joan Watte, 90, of Poulsbo, WA was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and passed away on 3 September, 2023 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington due to respiratory complications.
Joan was the widow of John F. Watte. They had been married 60 years at the time of his passing. During their marriage, Joan and John lived in Boston, Massachusetts, Honolulu, Hawaii and later Poulsbo, Washington where they built their home and later retired.
Joan enjoyed spending time with family, knitting, reading, and participating in her local book group. Before John's passing, the couple were active in many local veterans service organizations.
She is survived by two of her three children, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Following a private graveside service, Joan will be interred alongside her husband at Tahoma National Cemetery.
