Ingrid Elizabeth Beason was reunited with her husband Phil on December 13, 2024, passing peacefully. Ingrid lead a full life traveling extensively; first as a child with her Norwegian father sea captain Sten Bustvik and mother Louise Due, then with her husband, where they made countless trips to Europe, UK, Wales, and Russia. Ingrid was born on February 7, 1926 in Cardiff, Wales and immigrated to the U.S. in the sixties. She became a hair dresser and ran Ingrid's Beauty Shop until retirement in 1994 and lived in San Francisco. They were active members of the Sons of Norway and enjoyed many dinner dances over the years. In 2014, they moved to Seattle. Although Ingrid did not have children of her own she mentored and nurtured many. Ingrid will be deeply missed.
