Hermann Ludwig Papke

Hermann Ludwig Papke born 11/30/33 in Bremen, Germany, left this earth to be reunited with his beloved wife on 1/28/25 in Everett, wa. A son, brother, husband, father, grandpa & great grandpa. He was a friend to many and will never be forgotten. Although are hearts are mourning, our lives will forever be full from the moments and stories that will live on through his memory.

He lived a wonderful, adventurous life, traveling the world and experiencing things most can only dream. A man of all seasons as he liked to call himself. From oil painting to competitive sailing, to making a good living and retiring from being a manager at a local grocery store chain, he never found something he couldn’t do.

Although we will deeply miss his presence, his voice, his visits, we are grateful for the time spent together. He cherished his loved ones and we cherished him. We are at peace knowing he will once again be with the love of his life who he never stopped missing or loving.

Hermann was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Anna, his older brother Werner, his wife of almost 60 years Ingrid and daughter Rita. He is survived by his younger brother, Harold, son Robert, grandchildren Jessika and Pierce, great grandchildren Jameson and Addelyn and his beloved dog Penny.
