Herman Webster Butler

He was born on Sept. 28,1928 in Paris ,Kentucky to Herman Rollen Butler and Mary R.Butler.He lost his mother at an early age, and was raised by his father and stepmother. He looked up to his father as a role model for the kind of man he wanted to be : a hard worker and a man of integrity

He joined the US Air Force and earned the rank of Sgt. He went to Fisk University in Nashville Tennessee and took up Pre Med . He went to Elkhart Institute of Technology in Elkhart, Indiana where he completed his medical technology course.

Herman is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mely Soria Butler, his children ,Carla, Marcie (Robert) Mark, Lelani and Shawn.

Grandchildren :Damion (Florecita) Darren(Beth) Marcus, Takara and Lamont.

Great Grandchildren: Brooklyn and Blakely.

He was preceded in death by his son, Greg.

Herman had a long career in the medical field as a Medical Technologist at Group Health in Seattle ( now Kaiser) where he retired in 1994. ,St Joseph Hospital in Lewiston and Tacoma ,TriState Hospital in Clarkston ,WA and the VA Hospital in Ruthland Hts. MA.

He is US Air Force Veteran .He was an

active parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in Seattle and an officer and member of the Narvacanian Club of WA. State.

Herman was a loving and caring husband, father,grandfather and great-grandfather.

He will be greatly missed not only by his family and friends but also people who knew him.
