Harris David (Dave) Longfellow, 82, sadly passed away March 20, 2025 in Stanwood, Washington. He was born on November 30,1942 in Everett, Washington to his parents Harris Douglas and Margaret Elizabeth Longfellow who precede him in death. He graduated from Everett High School in 1961. He had 3 siblings Doug Longfellow, Dennis Longfellow and Dianne Crouch (Longfellow). He leaves behind his wife, Barbara L. Longfellow (Krapp), 57 years, married October 13, 1967. He had 3 children, his son Happy Longfellow (Chris), his daughter Tracy Lamb (Vince), and his daughter Jami Lundquist. He had six grandchildren Hunter Longfellow, Hayden Longfellow, Jordan Lamb (Austin), Taylor Lamb, Jade Lundquist and Jackson Lundquist.
Celebration of Dave’s life
Please bring your favorite memories and stories to share as we celebrate Dave’s life and enjoy a meal on Saturday, April 26th at the Stillaguamish Grange Hall located at 6521 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood, WA 98292 from 1:00 – 4:00pm.
A private burial service will be held with the family.
Dave had many hobbies, jobs and friends over the years. In his youth, he was a Sea Scout and was a ferry boat pilot on the Hat Island Ferry out of Everett. He was a US Army Military Policeman and later became an electrician. He retired from Wards Cove Packing Co. where he worked for decades splitting seasons between Bristol Bay and the home office on Lake Union. He enjoyed golf, cruising, fishing, wine-making, dancing, pig roasts, and the Stanwood-Camano Fair.
