He was married to Penny Busche in August 1964, and graduated from Washington State University 1965, with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering.
After college, he worked as Peace Corp Volunteer in the Philippines for two years before moving to Hawaii and then back to Seattle to raise a family.
He earned a Master’s degree in architecture from University of Washington, 1973, and he was actively involved in playing piano, vintage car racing and golfing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted & Meda and brothers, Mike and Tom.
He is survived by his wife, Penny; his children, Cory and Tiffany (Bill) and his sister Jane (Jim).
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, in West Seattle on Saturday, April 12th at 2:00 pm.
