Elena Margareta Eftimiu

Elena Margareta Hiott Eftimiu passed away peacefully in her Bellingham home last Thursday, August 3rd, at the age of 91. She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived a full and rich life and always repeated how grateful she was for all of it.

She was born in Communist Romania and immigrated to the United States in 1968. She loved America and always treasured and appreciated the freedom and the opportunity it had provided her.

She will be missed by her family and many loving friends.
