Terry Hewitt Wemple

Terry Hewitt Wemple, age 82, of Richmond, KY, formerly of Pasadena, CA, passed away on October 27, 2025. Terry was born to the late James Eugene Wemple and the late Ruth Margorie Hewitt Wemple on December 31, 1942. Terry was one of three children. He was born and raised in Pasadena, CA and was a graduate of John Muir High School.

Terry worked in the automotive field for many years and relocated to New Hampshire where he resided briefly. In the 80’s, he began working for KI which brought him to Berea, KY.

In 2003, he cofounded Kentucky Industrial Packaging and Sorting. His life-long knowledge in the automotive industry led to a wonderful multi-year company until retirement.

Terry was a polite, respectful person who supported a well-mannered and traditional lifestyle. He found joy in cooking and golf and was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers and Lakers fan.

Terry is survived by his sons John Morgan Wemple (Heather) and Kevin Veillon, grandchildren Mason and Natalie Wemple. Siblings of Rick Wemple (Debra) and Kim Campbell (Chuck). Cousin, Nancy Parker, close friends Tanya Wemple and Sherrie Lancaster (Jesse). Terry is also survived by three nieces (Shawna, Ashley, and Jordan) and two nephews (Shayne and Charlie), stepsister (Jane) and extended family members.
