Roy Wendell Mordy

Roy was born to Horace W and Barbara G Mordy, on July 18,1948, in Lima ,OH one of four children.

Roy served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam from 68 thru 73. He went on to graduate from Washtenaw Community College in 1975. Where shortly after he met his beautiful bride and wife of 48 years, Kathy Susan Lynn. They married in Ann Arbor, Michigan and had 8 children.

Roy is survived by his wife, Kathy; sons ,David(Natasha) Mordy and Joshua Mordy; daughters , Jessica Mordy, Heather(Corie) Milliken, Alysia Mordy, Hilary(Frankie) Ano and Hannah Mordy; Grandchildren,

Justin Mordy, Landin Mordy, Dominic Napier, Myla Ano, and Emery Ano; Brother, Kent Mordy; Sisters Joyce(Bob) Jeckell and Barbara Mordy.

Preceded in death by Son; Nathaniel Mordy.

Roy was a loving father and grandfather. He loved his country and community. He never met a stranger. He is loved and sorely missed.

A special thank you to the people at Southern Kentucky Hospice in Bowling Green for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude towards Neptune Society for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
