Rita Louise Hendrickson

Rita is survived by her brother Bobby Mills; children; Kathy Harrison, Rob Hendrickson, Jennifer Meredith, Angie Cornish (Chris) Cindy Schreder and Julie Cavalcante (Michael); twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Bernard and Ollie Mae Mills; brothers Jimmy, Louie, and Henry Mills; sisters Imogene Denton, Sarah Mills, and Ruth Griggs; and two sons Billy and Darrell Hendrickson.

Rita spent her life in western Kentucky living in Morganfield and Henderson the majority of her life. She was a strong-willed lady who lived independently up until her death and her children are very thankful for this. She loved hanging out on the porch with her friends and going out on adventures with them to eat dinner or see a movie. Her yorkies were her special companions and little Gabby kept her company over the last couple of years.

A private family service will be held to celebrate Rita’s life.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
