Dennis Roger Burley

Dennis Roger Burley, 72, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on August 19, 2025. He was born July 20, 1953, to Janice and Joseph Burley, and was raised in Brook, Indiana, where he graduated from South Newton High School.

Dennis worked as a computer programmer/analyst and was known for his strong work ethic and his constant drive to stay busy with projects. An avid fisherman, he especially cherished his trips to Canada. While living in Speedway, Indiana, he was an active member of Chapel Rock Christian Church, where he also drove the church bus. Over the years, he made his home in Gonzales, Louisiana, Speedway, Indiana, and most recently Madison, Indiana.

He is survived by his daughters Erin Burley (Jason Burt) and Katie Grill (Dan); three grandchildren, Izzy Burley, Damien Grill, and Forrest Grill; his brother Jim Burley; his sister Julie Robinson; and his beloved Border Collies, Bleu and Roux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Janice and Joseph Burley; his brother, Gary Burley; and his first Border Collie, Holly, whom he dearly loved.
