Charles L Cowsert Jr.

Charles Leeman Cowsert JR passed away on Sunday May 20 at his home in Louisville KY. Charles was a devoted and loving father and grandfather of 6 children and 5 grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, country music, and his family. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Charles was a retired Maintenance Technician.

Charles was preceded in death by Charles Cowsert SR (Father), Pearl Cowsert (Mother), Rhonda Cowsert (Daughter), Leon Cowsert (Brother) , Judy Dreffs (Sister), Linda Fuqua (Sister), Jim Cowsert (Brother), and Bill Cowsert (Brother).

Survivors include Chrislin Gardner (Daughter), Charles Cowsert III (Son), Candace Leavitt (Daughter), Mogan Emmones (Daughter), Jeff Cowsert (Son), Sandy Cowsert (Daughter), Alice Cowsert (Sister), and his 5 granchildren Kevin, Jaxon, Natalea, Adelaide , and Braelynn. Many called Charles friend because of his kind heart and generous spirit.

The Neptune Society was awarded the honor of performing Charles' cremation. A celebration of his life will be held at Trinity Baptist Temple, 7625 3rd St Rd Louisville KY 40214 on May 26, 2018 at 11AM.
