Carolina died on Wednesday June 4th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Robert Boydston in 1984 and her last husband and dear buddy Jack Henry in 2006. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Brinitzer and Husband Marc and her grandkids Cameron and Rachel.
She was known in The Livermore area as a realtor extraordinaire until she retired in the early 2000s to care for her husband Jack as he succumbed to dementia.
Carol Ann became a full time student of art as her last act. She painted prolifically and showed her art all over Livermore and Pleasanton.
She traveled extensively, grandparented with gusto and surrounded herself with countLess friends. They walked, they dined, they traveled, they gardened.
If you walk along the Arroyo Mocho and encounter cactus or aloe or if a stubborn Ichium sprouts in your garden it’s likely they were planted by Carol.
Carol Ann’s remains will be scattered in a place dear to her later this summer. In her honor plant some flowers and most of all be kind to one another it’s what Carolina would have wanted .
