Robert James Hicks

Visitation and Memorial will be 9:00 am, July 18, 2026, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home at 13801 Chenal Pkwy in Little Rock, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Hicks Cemetery at 4259 Mount Tabor Rd in Lonoke, Arkansas.

Robert “Bobby” was born in England, Arkansas, to Robert Garland Hicks and May Eason Hicks on September 13, 1942. He went to high school at North Little Rock High School. He was married to Helen Frances Hicks for 38 loving years. In recent years, Bobby was a delivery driver for his own business, after many years of truck driving as a career. He loved driving his truck, fishing, watching westerns, and going to the casino. Bobby was a great husband, step-father, grandfather, son, brother and friend and will certainly be missed by all who loved him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father Robert Garland Hicks and mother May Eason Hicks, his wife Helen Frances Hicks, and his brother Randy Garland Hicks.

Bobby leaves behind his four step-children Jim Morehart and his wife Pam, Lee Morehart and his wife Debbie, Virginia Britton and her husband Robert “Bucky”, and Joy Hobbs and her husband Tim, brother Joe Hicks and his wife Renee, sister Jean Smith and her husband Jon David, grandchildren Paula, Ricky, Jeremy, Aaron and Austin, and great-grandchild Hunter.

In lieu of flowers at the Memorial, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Bobby’s memory.
