Melinda Ann Eikenbary "Mindy" was born on December 8, 1964 to the late Glen and Melba Eikenbary in Lafayette, Louisiana. She graduated from Carencro High School. She worked for Gulf South rehabilitation for the mentally and physically handicapped. There she was able to place young people out of institutions to learning to live on their own. She also worked with the handicapped as an instructor for the Special Olympics. She also served as the Deputy Clerk of Court in Lafayette, Louisiana. When she moved to Arkansas where she worked as secretary at the local high school. She volunteered to work with the high school cheerleaders. She loved doing all kinds of crafts in which she was very talented. She loved the outdoors. Fishing was her favorite sport. She passed away on June1, 2023 at her sister’s home in Amity, Arkansas. Her father, mother and brother Randy Eikenbary pre-seeded her in death. She left behind 2 sisters, Bonita Gaddis of Amity, Arkansas (whom shared the same birthdate 16 years apart. Kimmie LaComb married to Carl LaComb of Carencro, Louisiana. One uncle, Doug Eikenbary of Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Four nieces, 10 nephews, 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews with 2 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephews and many cousins. She will be greatly missed by one and all. Rest in Peace.❤️❤️❤️
