Mary Joyce Davis

Born on August 19, 1942 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was the oldest of three Daughters of Rockie Angelo Paladino and Marise Wilkins-Morton Paladino. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Paul Meredith Davis, two children, Keith (Kelley) Crowder of Cabot, Arkansas and Cathy (Mark) Hawkins of Sarasota, Florida. Three bonus daughters Karen (Peter) Clermont, Florida, Kristina (Jeff) Vicars of West Terre Haute, Indiana, Kathy (Nico) Wallace of Clermont, Florida, Grandchildren Chris (Lauren) Crowder, & Caitlyn (Ethan) Ellis. Bonus Grandchildren Jessica Garda, David Garda, Jed Vicars, Jake Vicars, Colten Terry, Andrew Terry, & Karleigh LeClair. She has two Great grandsons Ezra Ellis and Elijah Crowder. She is also survived by two Sisters, Emily (Dr. James) Bost of Fayetteville and Suzanne (Dr James) Burton of Hot Springs, and two Sisters-In-Law Mary Louise Harter of New Madison, Ohio and Marilyn Davis of Moline, Illinois and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her employment was in Banking, Savings and Loan, Wholesale Plumbing and Automotive, and was an Executive Assistant for the State Of Arkansas. She worked for 14 years for United Cerebral Palsy as Business Manager and Executive Assistant to the President of UCP in Fund Development in Sarasota Florida. She returned to Arkansas in 2004 when she retired.

She was a proud graduate of the Class of 1960 from North Little Rock High School and a member of it’s Reunion Committee in charge of locating and contacting over 500 classmates. Upon moving to Cabot she was an active member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot and served as Trustee wife, Deacon Wife, the Kitchen Committee, and a member of the Women On Missions group. She also took up genealogy creating Family Trees for her and her husband’s family.

A Memorial service will be held at Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot on August 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her honor to Briarwood Baptist Church, 1872 Willie Ray Road, Cabot, Arkansas 72023
