I am so sad to hear of the passing of your loved one.  It was in middle school, at Zane Jr. High School that I first met the tall, handsome, super funny guy, Mark Swanson. But it was not until the 10-year class reunion for Eureka High School, that I started to realize  the depths of his creativity and passion for the medical field.  As he was telling me about developments in the treatment of brain bleeds and discovering how to heal the skull faster after surgery (It's the things we nerds talk about) , I exclaimed, " Mark, I had no idea how ...." 
And he inserted, "...smart I was?" 
But I corrected, "...how serious you could be."  
He was cherished here on Earth, and I know FOR SURE he must be so happy to see Mike Giacomini again.
