By the time he was 10 his family relocated to Bishop, Texas. He was baptized on August 5, 1966. In 1985 he moved his family to Pearland, TX and attended the Pearland Congregation and later moved to Alvin and attended the Chocolate Bayou Congregation until his passing.
Chris loved volunteering at quick builds and the building of the Rosenberg Assembly Hall. He also volunteered at the District Conventions when held at the Astrodome Annual Spring Cleaning staying to help tear down the stage and disassemble the sound speakers.
He looked forward to annual family vacations at the Frio River enjoying Jehovah's creations and making memories such as family Watchtower with everyone gathered around while the kids sat in inner-tubes.
Chris had such a deep love for Jehovah and His promise of the resurrection as stated in Rev. 21:3-4.
Despite his bad health, he always made sure to inform all his doctors that he was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and had his No Blood card out and made sure they gave him the band for it in the hospital. Never missed a chance to witness to the nurses during hospital stays. The last two years were the hardest, with dialysis and frequent doctor visits but despite this, Chris always had a big smile on his face and loved to tell jokes.
Chris loved the brothers and sisters in the congregation and made sure to say "Hello" and to talk with as many as possible.
