

Sam proudly served his country as a veteran before building a successful career in logistics he worked for many years as a logistics manager with Sara Lee and U.S. Foods where he was respected for his strong work ethic leadership and dedication.
Outside of work Sam had a lifelong passion for racing and was an avid NASCAR fan. His love of Motorsports extended beyond spectating as he had his own history in racing. He was also a devoted Corvette enthusiast and took great pride in the cars he loved. Whether at the racetrack attending a car race or talking cars with friends and family Sam found joy in the things that fueled his adventurous spirit.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents Jack Kimberlin and Wanda Kimberlin; his brothers Ronnie Kimberlin and Jack Kimberlin Jr., and his beloved aunt Eva Penix.
He leaves behind his loving wife Kathy Kimberlin; his sons Michael Kimberlin and Josh Kimberlin; his daughters in love Kelly Kimberlin and Rhonda Kimberlin; his cherished grandchildren Ayden, Ryan, Jayden and Jordan; his brother John Kimberlin and his nieces Keely and Rae. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends and fellow racing enthusiasts who will miss him dearly.
Sam will be remembered for his patriotism, his dedication to family, his love of racing, and the kindness and loyalty he showed to those around him. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories he created with those he loved.
Though he will be deeply missed his family finds comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to ride alongside them on every road ahead.
