Robert Lester Green

FEB 3, 1939 – MAY 20, 2023

Robert (Bob) Green Jr. was born in Marlin, Texas in 1939. He graduated from Crockett High School Class of 1957, where he enjoyed playing football, baseball, basketball, high jump, and shot-put. Bob was able to receive a scholarship as a walk-on and attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcus, Texas. He then enlisted into the Army where he played service ball and was stationed at Drew Airbase in France, and later in Germany.

Bob was a longtime loyal member of the Pasadena Moose Lodge #1721. His dedication to the Moose Lodge included Administrator, Governor, and President. He also received his Gold Coat Pilgrim status in 1999.

Survived by his sister Betty Porter (husband Jim); nephew Steven and niece Whitney; his son Michael Green (wife Rachael) of Clute TX, daughter Carolyn Davis of Raleigh, NC and son David Green (Wife Megan) of Enterprise, AL. His six grandchildren Jacey, Trenton, Jenna, McKenna, Carter, and Hudson.

His family will be holding a Memorial to honor his life and many accomplishments on:
