Betty Lou Reid

Betty Lou Snook Reid, 82, a resident of Pearland, Texas passed away on March 10, 2024 in Pearland. Betty was born on September 23, 1941, in Wheelersburg, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Frances Snook. She graduated from Wheelersburg High School in 1960. On July 7, 1967, Betty was united in marriage to Mylie Reid in Houston Texas.

Betty worked at Gulf Oil for nine years as a key punch operator then Deady Middle School as a registrar for twenty-one years until her retirement. After retirement, Betty loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and taking trips to the casinos. Taking care of and spending time with her loved ones was a big part of who she was and what we cherished.

Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years, her daughter Denise Owens of Pearland, Texas, son John Reid and wife Michelle of Alvin, Texas; grandchildren Kylie Owens, Fisher and Gracie Reid.

Betty is reunited with her parents, sisters Patrica Provenzano and Mary Snook, brothers Ray Lee and Ralph Snook.
