Shirley A Vandermoon

Shirley Vandermoon, of Las Vegas, lost her battle with a genetic blood disorder on Monday, October, 21, 2019 and will join her husband, Verne Vandermoon (1939 - 2012) , for eternity at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Shirley was born December 30, 19## in Menno, SD to Gilbert and Lillie Kirschenman. Her passion for fun and her energy will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Shirley enjoyed dancing, cards, golf, the accordion, polka music, Las Vegas and their casino’s, spending time with her family, and her very special Los Prados community.

She is survived by her two sons: Brad (Sandy) and Todd (Cheryl) Vandermoon; four grandchildren: Ashley (Joey) Brennan, Branden Vandermoon, Amber (Jared) Ogg, and Brittany Vandermoon; and two great grandchildren: Wyatt and Anabelle Brennan.

Shirley is also survived by her mother, Lillie Kirschenman and four siblings: Harlyn (Donna) Kirschenman, Bonnie Bond, Donna (Doug) Scheller, and Peggy (Mark) Rames.

Family and friends will be celebrating her life with a memorial luncheon/open house at the Los Prados Clubhouse from 11-2:00 on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
