Michael Reed Krein

My dear brother, Michael Krein, passed away on Labor Day, Monday September 2, 2024. He is survived by his sister, Karla Kirk and husband Kevin Kirk, brother Mitchell Krein, his mother and father Reuben and Shirley Krein. He passed quickly and peacefully from a myocardial infarction. He was a very loving supportive uncle to his two nieces, Johanna and Amanda Kirk. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his deep laugh, and his warm and supportive nature. He was very creative. He composed several pieces of classical music and has recently finished writing a fantasy novel which he illustrated himself. He had a particular way of doing things and was unique. He was awesome, he was always there. He loved animals and the family dogs would always insist on capturing his attention. He graduated from Harvy Mudd with a physics degree and worked as a software engineer in California before he returned to Las Vegas. He was always the highlight of family gatherings and holidays, and he will be deeply missed.
