Marvin Dawson

Our exquisitely intelligent, talented, and handsome brother Marvin Dawson, born December 2, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, departed this earthly world at the age of 62 on January 15, 2025, at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada due to cardiac arrest.

Although Marvin is no longer with us, he dealt with numerous health issues of his own. He was able to give hope to others by donating his cornea, skin, and tissue to Nevada Donor Network.

He was a veteran of the Armed Forces and served in the Army.

Marvin had an in-depth knowledge of technology and could repair and rebuild any computer. With a heart of gold, he would assist you in any way he possibly could.

He was a connoisseur of music and had a love of travel, sports, and politics.

Marvin always wanted to know about others but would shy away from divulging too much of his own personal life.

He leaves behind two children, numerous brothers and sisters, several other family members, friends, and his adorable little dog.

Thanks to all of Marvin's friends and neighbors who assisted in his encouragement, daily walks, and transportation needs. We are well aware he appreciated the love you showed him, and for that we are very grateful.

Rest in peace, my brother. You no longer have to endure any pain. We love you, and you will truly be missed. You are forever in our hearts!

Neptune Society of Las Vegas, NV. handled Marvin's arrangements. Per Marvin's request, he wanted to be cremated. His remains were shipped to his family outside of Las Vegas.
