Marty was born May 17, 1942, in Missouri to Martin Earl Treese Sr. and Emily (Edith) Treese. He graduated from Forsyth High School in 1960 and joined the United States Air Force. Marty proudly served his Country for 25 years, 2 months and 3 days until his retirement on March 1, 1986. He wasn’t one to sit still, so after retiring from the military he worked for the Clarke County School District and earned a second retirement.
On January 2, 1966, while stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas, Marty met the love of his life Elda Lita Murillo. Marty and Lita married on July 28, 1966. They loved to travel and Marty’s military career took them to some of their favorite places including Germany, Spain, England, London and Ireland just to name a few. In 1981 Marty was stationed at Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas NV where he lived until his death.
Marty will forever be remembered for his love of life. He was always the life of the party and never missed a good time with his family and friends. Anyone who met Marty has a story to tell.
Marty is survived by his loving wife Lita, adopted son John Pupo, brother Richard Treese, many nieces and nephews (all claim to be his favorite) and so many dear friends and adopted family. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Doris Hutton, Catherine Collins, Rosemary Blackwell, Evelyn Carmichael, Shirley Morgan and Judy Mitchum.
Marty will be honored with a Military service in Las Vegas (tbd) and laid to rest in Troy Missouri.
