Frank (Jay) Willey 78, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away September 17th, after a battle with pancreatic cancer, with his family by his side. Born November 3, 1944, in Aurora, Illinois, Jay lived in N Mexico until graduating high school, and moved to Las Vegas in 1962. Jay owned and operated Nevada Cycle Parts and Scooter Sales for 48 years in the same location on Las Vegas Blvd, until retiring a few years back. He loved racing motorcycles, and later, stock cars at Craig Road Ranch Raceway. He became interested in flying and built and flew his airplane, an Avid flyer named the Jay Bird. Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Willey, Sr, and his mother, Shirley Young Willey. He leaves a wife, Carolyn Willey and his children, Carrie (CL) Edlefsen, of Reno, NV, Mason (Paula) Willey of Salkum, WA, and Misty (J) Edlefsen of Mesa, AZ, in addition to his stepchildren, Shelly Popovich (Will) of Snowflake, AZ, and Jason Graham, of Glendale, AZ and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jay loved the Lord and is in His presence now. Services will be Saturday, September 30, at 10am at North Las Vegas Baptist Church, 3910 W Washburn, N. Las Vegas.
