Florence Emma Bunce

Florence was born February 2, 1925 to Harry Brawley and Jesse (Lewis) in Meadville, PA. Her parents were custom home builders in Meadville. They developed a section of town on both sides of Brawley Ave. Florence was a happy child attending local schools, doing well and graduating early.

In high school Florence met the love of her life, Wayne Linn Bunce of Dicksonberg, PA. After Wayne served in WWII, they married on December 19, 1945. They started a family while he worked in construction building the PA turnpike.

In 1956, they fulfilled their dream and moved to Tarzana, CA where the family prospered and thrived. Florence became a real estate investor while Wayne worked 45 years as a commercial construction superintendent. Florence was widowed in 1990 and later moved to Las Vegas, NV to retire. She spent many happy years in Sun City Summerlin, enjoying her church, family and friends. Florence loved doing charity work, traveling, arts, crafts, sewing, and gardening.

Florence is survived by a daughter and son in law, Alice and James Higa of Las Vegas, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

Services provided by Neptune Society and laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Cemetery in Chatsworth, CA.
